Happy Tails: Kezey Finds Her Forever Home
Kezey was an 11 month old Rottweiler that came to us on March 26, 2014. This spirited, sweet natured girl won our hearts over the moment she arrived. She is tall and lean for a Rottweiler and we believe she may have a bit more growing, or at least filling out, to do. Kezey was a little shy her first day but warmed up to everyone very quickly. She became fast friends with several of our other rescues and enjoyed spending time with Chico, our Chocolate Lab.
Adult and senior dogs are a joy to have for many reasons but it was somehow revitalizing to have such a young body bouncing around. Little things amused her to no end, including brooms and snow shovels. Her curious nature made us laugh and watching this girl try to figure out our agility jumps for the first time was hilarious. Kezey is a people dog through and through. She is driven by attention and affection and enjoyed participating in our activities, especially if it meant she could make some new friends.
Kezey found her forever home and was adopted in April 2014. It appears that 26 is her lucky number. Her birthdate is April 26, 2013, she was adopted into our care on March 26, 2014 and she was re-homed on April 26, 2014. Although it may be a bit of a stretch, her new owner is 29, which, if you flip the 9 upside down, becomes a 6! Some things are just meant to be.
We wish Kezey and new parent, Philippe, all the best for the future.
She used to be my little puppy and she was awesome! I miss her!
